Melinda Epps
When Epps Realty's Melinda Epps said she
keeps her business grounded in family values she means it. The owner of Epps
Realty, Belinda Epps, is Melinda's twin sister.
Over the past 20 years, she
has worked for other firms in the real estate field while maintaining her real
estate license with Epps Realty. She has contracted out with major real estate
companies providing marketing, management, leasing and financial services.
Melinda heads up the leasing
and property management division for Epps Realty and looks to incur significant
growth- or at least pursue significant opportunities for - in the coming year.
Melinda said the management
division has grown approximately 200 percent in the two years. Melinda said the
market has shifted in that" we are seeing more homeowners opting to hold on to
their homes and use them as investment properties and my job is to manage the
properties on a day to day basis for the home owner and keep the properties
leased. Approximately 30 percent of my clients are out of state homeowners."
Another component to growing
the property management division of Epps Realty will be the continued focus on
customer service. Melinda believes customer is becoming a lost art in the
business world in general. " Our goal is to give the best we can to people," she
said. " We want to do our best to match up tenants and landlords... buyers and
sellers. Our goal is to become the top of customer service.
Melinda is a member of Women
Council of Realtors, Mesquite Chamber of Commerce and Metrotex Association of
Realtors.
